Epson Unveils PowerLite Projector with E-TORL Lamp Technology

Epson has unveiled a new projector that features XGA resolution and generates a brightness of 3,500 lm. The PowerLite 1835 projector has sophisticated networking capabilities, making it ideal for higher education and corpora markets.

The PowerLite projector features a Quick Corner technology that enables the four corners of an image to be altered independently. It has a 1.6x optical zoom that enables large images to be generated from shorter distances. The optical zoom also eradicates dead spaces, while the 16° tilt enables for images to be displayed higher on the wall.

The projector’s USB Plug 'n Play feature transfers mouse control, sound and image through a single cable and the HDMI technology provides enhanced digital audio and video. It can be linked to a network through a wireless LAN module or a RJ45 connector. The projector’s EasyMP software facilitates remote controlling and monitoring of the projector. The device is Crestron RoomView enabled that is compatible with RoomView software for remote controlling and monitoring without requiring an A/V control box.

The PowerLite 1835 projector has an E-TORL lamp technology that offers a maximum lamp life of 6,000 h. It also has an inbuilt speaker and a closed captioning decoder that enables viewers with hearing impairments to access the presentations.
