Laser Operations, developer of QPC lasers, has introduced a new OEM turnkey solution that is suitable for direct illumination, forensics, medical laser therapy, laser soldering and plastic welding.
The SUltra solution is based on QPC Lasers' BrightLock and BrightLase fiber-coupled modules. It comes in multiple wavelengths including 1920, 1470, 1064, 980 and 532 nm with maximum optical powers of 50 W.
The OEM solution comprises a visible aiming beam, an optional touch-screen interface, controller electronics, a thermal management system, power supply, laser driver and a collimated or fiber-coupled laser module. The device measures 15×16.2×45 cm. The laser output is provided through a fiber-optic cable with core size ranging between 50 µm and 80 µm. The output is controlled via a graphical user interface or an RS-232 interface for easy and swift integration.
The SUltra solution features an optional power monitoring control, a safety interlock, fast rise time and high power stability. It is also ideal for applications such as materials processing, laser pumping, OEM medical equipment, LCD and solar panel manufacturing, particle counting and forensic applications.
