Olympus Launches Digital Cameras with Dual-Image Stabilization Feature

Olympus announced that it has introduced a new range of Waterproof, Shockproof and Freezeproof digital camera models. The TG-310 and the TG-610 camera models feature dual image stabilization, wide-angle optical zoom lenses, HD video and deliver high-quality images.

The TG-610 and the TG-310 cameras can shoot 720p HD videos below and above the water’s surface. The HDMI control enables the cameras to deliver convenient playback. The cameras incorporate a new 3-D Mode that allows users to shoot 3D photos in various modes. The cameras feature Wi-Fi capability and are compatible with Eye-Fi SD cards, allowing users to upload images automatically to your computer.

TG-610 Camera

Both  cameras feature Magic Filters, which allow users to customize and improve images when they are captured. The TG-610 camera has a 3” HyperCrystal III LCD monitor that reproduces shades and colors more precisely, in addition to consuming lesser power. The wide-viewing angle allows users to view minute details with more clarity. The TG-610 camera also comes with an Underwater 3D Movie, a Macro LED, and an Automatic Underwater White Balance function.

The TG-310 camera features a 3.6x wide-angle optical zoom lens, whereas the TG-610 has a 5x optical lens, making them suitable for journeys such as skiing, mountain biking, climbing, hiking, and camping.

Olympus has also developed a new TruePic III+ image processor for challenging performances of the digital SLR cameras. The image processor generates high-quality photos by utilizing all the available pixel information for each image.
