China Sunergy to Supply 7 MW Solar Modules to Building Integrated Photovoltaic Project

China-based manufacturer of solar cells and modules, China Sunergy has signed a 7 MW supply agreement for solar modules with an energy system supplier, CEEG Solar Energy Research Institute.

Under the terms of the agreement, China Sunergy will supply solar modules for the solar roof project at the Nanjing South Railway Station, in China.

The project is the largest building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) project in the world for a single structure. The Nanjing South Railway Station is a key stop in the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway. The completion of the project will make the station the most energy saving public structure in China.

CEEG Institute is an associate company of China Sunergy and specializing in service, construction, marketing, production and R&D of the PV power system. China Sunergy develops solar cells from silicon wafers and later assembles them into solar modules.
