Vizio Introduces XVT3D650SV HDTV with Theater 3D Technology

Vizio announced that it has launched a 65” HDTV that features a patented Theater 3D technology. The Theater 3D technology utilizes cost-efficient glasses with polarized lenses.

The technology provides flicker-free, brighter 3D with reduced crosstalk for active-shutter 3D HDTVs.

The inexpensive glasses do not utilize and do not need line-of-sight to an infrared transmitter to operate. The XVT3D650SV HDTV is available with four pairs of 3D glasses. Of these, two pairs are utilized with prescription glasses. The HDTV, in addition to the 3D feature, has numerous home entertainment features. The television incorporates an inbuilt Wi-Fi to access Vizio Internet Apps and other online services such as Pandora, Netflix, and YouTube. It offers an inbuilt Bluetooth and a Bluetooth remote that includes a QWERTY keyboard.
