Raptor Photonics has introduced new digital EMCCD cameras for integrators and OEMs.
The HK246-CL color and the HK247-CL monochrome digital Hawk EMCCD cameras are suitable for applications including common low light scientific imaging, driver view enhancement, airborne EO systems, 800 nm-1.06 µm laser line detection, long-range target identification, and ground-based and airborne surveillance.
The cameras are included into imaging systems including compact EO/IR surveillance platforms. In addition, the EMCCD cameras have numerous pre-processing features such as Intelligent AGC control, Gamma, and Hot Pixel correction. The Intelligent AGC control enables the user to utilize the dynamic range and sensor sensitivity with the selection of sub frames to maximize the image quality.
The digital Hawk EMCCD cameras includes Texas Instruments’ TC246 color and TC247 monochrome Impactron sensor, and features a active pixel size of 10 x 10 µm with a resolution of 658 x 496. In addition, the cameras consume a power of less than 5 W and offer a 12 bit cameraLink output.
