Basler, a company specializing in cameras and inspection systems, announced that it has added more features to its runner GigE line scan camera range. The new Divider, Multiplier and Shading Correction features help in swifter and simpler integration into various types of factory environments.
The shading correction feature can be utilized to compensate for inconsistent lighting conditions. The application software, in the homogeneous images, can precisely and conveniently identify the defects.
The GigE camera’s input/output block has also been improved. The incoming trigger signal’s frequency can be decreased by utilizing the latest divider feature. The multiplier feature can be used to enhance the trigger signal frequency. To generate an accurate line acquisition rate, the I/O features provide various kinds of transformations for encoder and trigger signals from a conveyer belt.
The divider and multiplier features can be executed by determining the right software parameters, can be altered in a wide parameter range, and can be utilized simultaneously to accommodate the necessary line trigger frequency over a wide range of applications.
