New APO-Xenoplan 1.8-35mm Lens from Schneider-Kreuznach

Schneider-Kreuznach, an optics manufacturing company, has rolled out a new 5 megapixel APO-Xenoplan lens that is specifically designed for 2/3” CMOS/CCD sensors.

The 1.8/35 mm lens, with broadband coating and apochromatic correction features, covers a broad spectral range and is suitable for luminescence applications at a wavelength of 1200 nm.

The APO-Xenoplan lens is suitable for high-resolution applications that utilize 5 megapixel CMOS and CCD cameras; hence pixel sizes of up to 3.45 µ can be easily accommodated. Images can be differentiated by their improved sharpness and contrast, even at 3.45 µ range. The APO-Xenoplan 1.8/35 mm is the new generation of flexible industry compliant lens.

The lens is ideal for medical technology, machine vision applications and pure measurement engineering.
