Schneider-Kreuznach, an optics manufacturing company, has rolled out a new 5 megapixel APO-Xenoplan lens that is specifically designed for 2/3” CMOS/CCD sensors.
The 1.8/35 mm lens, with broadband coating and apochromatic correction features, covers a broad spectral range and is suitable for luminescence applications at a wavelength of 1200 nm.
The APO-Xenoplan lens is suitable for high-resolution applications that utilize 5 megapixel CMOS and CCD cameras; hence pixel sizes of up to 3.45 µ can be easily accommodated. Images can be differentiated by their improved sharpness and contrast, even at 3.45 µ range. The APO-Xenoplan 1.8/35 mm is the new generation of flexible industry compliant lens.
The lens is ideal for medical technology, machine vision applications and pure measurement engineering. The lens has a sturdy body and is equipped with unwavering screws to lock the iris and focus settings. The APO-Xenoplan lens is designed to deliver maximum endurance and ensures long-term stability.
