DesignLights Consortium Qualifies DuroSite LED High Bay Lighting Fixture

Developer of LED lighting technology, Dialight announced that the DesignLights Consortium (DLC) has qualified the DuroSite LED High Bay lighting fixture. The Consortium has qualified the lighting fixture under its latest category, High-bay and Low-bay fixtures for Commercial and Industrial buildings.

DuroSite LED Lighting

The DuroSite LED lighting fixture uses Cree’s lighting-class Xlamp XP-G LEDs, decreasing the consumption of energy considerably than traditional lighting in gymnasiums, cold storage, and warehouses. The high-bay fixture consumes only 150 W of power for every unit. The lighting fixture is - and shock-resistant, and it provides 0.998 power factor. It has an instant on/off feature that eradicates useless warm-up time, thus enabling to switch off the lights when they are not required.

The Qualified Products List of DLC allows designers and program administrators to choose the right kind of lighting products that meet the energy efficiency guidelines, which are not included in the Energy Star program. All the high bay lighting fixtures included on the DLC’s qualified products list must fulfill the strict light output and performance requirements. The DLC program is sponsored by many energy efficiency organizations and utility companies across Canada and the U.S.
