Manufacturer of advanced ThermoView Ti30 infrared camera, Raytek has released new DataTemp Pi (DTPi) software and ThermoView Pi20 process imager. The thermal imaging solution offers an enlarged view of the process in various industrial applications.
The ThermoView Pi20 process imager is specifically developed to automatically control and monitor both stationary and continuous targets. The ThermoView Pi20 imager offers a process view of the thermal images in real-time, and enables plant operators to reduce production costs and process startup times. The thermal imaging camera is integrated with a DataTemp Pi software for real-time playback, archiving and viewing of off-line and on-line thermal images.
The DTPi software removes the long learning curve that is noticed in various process imaging systems. The software simultaneously supports a maximum of 16 Pi20 cameras in a single package. Each of the 16 cameras can include about 192 process alarms, which are to be used as relay outputs. This set up allows users to reduce the entire system footprint on the control room and factory floor using only one PC installation.
Both ThermoView Pi20 and DataTemp Pi software are developed for rugged conditions. For instance, during solar module testing, the imaging system detects the defective solar cells in advance and also allows manufacturers to enhance productivity and energy production and from the solar cells.
The combination of software and thermal imaging camera detects spots in garbage incineration and pressboard production and identifies clinkers on coke conveyers.
