Trumpf has unveiled a new, advanced Trulaser 5030 Fiber laser processing machine for cutting aluminium and stainless steel parts. The Trulaser 5030 Fiber is a Trudisk solid-state laser system that reduces manufacturing expenditures by 20%.
Users can utilize the 2D laser-cutting machine to cut sheets measuring 3,000 x 1,500 mm. The fiber-guided Trulaser can achieve feed rates that are three times faster than conventional CO2 laser when used in fusion cutting of 4 mm stainless steel. The laser machine has an output rating of 3 kW and reduces the table time by about 45%.
The Trulaser 5030 system incorporates similar features like the CO2 lasers to boost the flow rate of parts and reduce the processing time. Trumpf‘s development team replaced the beam-guidance system existing in the CO2 lasers with a fiber-guidance system, which resulted in a true, compact machine.
The Trulaser 5030 delivers better quality sheets than the CO2 lasers, and the laser’s 1.03 um wavelength enables users to cut thin sheets and attain high part quality easily and effectively.
The Trulaser 5030 is ideal for cutting metals such as brass, cooper, aluminium and construction steel parts.
