Acer America has launched a new series of eco-friendly LED monitors. The S1 series ultra-thin monitors integrate the thin profile with the advanced LED technology to develop a space-conscious design. The LED monitors are available in various sizes and deliver remarkable video performance.
Acer S1 Series Ultra-Thin Display
The S1 monitor series feature white LED backlighting that is devoid of hazardous substances like halogen gases or mercury. In addition to these eco-friendly features, the LED technology reduces the power consumption. The displays provide simple connectivity to office peripherals and home entertainment devices through a DVI or VGA port with HDCP protection.
The LED monitors offer a contrast ratio of 12,000,000:1 through Acer ACM (Adaptive Contrast Management), for exceptional picture quality and sharp graphics. The ACM incorporates latest technology, which allows frame-by-frame image adjustment for detail and gradation improvement in bright or dim scenes.
Acer America’s peripherals senior product marketing manager, Irene Chan, stated that the monitors were manufactured based on the considerations such as the slim design, environmental impact, low energy consumption, and remarkable visual quality.
