BIO-key International announced that it will introduce its first mobile biometric authentication and identification platform at the Burton Group Catalyst Conference.
The conference will be held in California at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel and Convention Center, on July 28. The biometric platform captures and transmits biometric data of fingerprints to server for authentication and identification of desktop, tablet, laptop, and smartphone users.
The five-day conference explores advanced ideas, new technologies, and existing challenges of the current and future enterprise. At the event, BIO-key will showcase how to establish identity using the Oracle Identity Management platform in laptops and smartphones to get data access. The partners of BIO-key such as Evidian, Computer Associates, IBM, and Oracle can now offer fast and secure way of authentication to their customers.
UPEK’s Chief Executive Officer and Chairman, Dr. Ronald D. Black, stated that the BIO-key fingerprint software offers protection to user privacy; offering more secure way to protect tokens and passwords of remote users. The identification software quickly searches the database of an enterprise to recognize a remote user’s identity, with one finger touch, he said.
