Tech Imagine announced that it has selected Global Rainmakers (GRI) to deploy iris biometrics technology for its current bank security systems across the Caribbean and Latin America.
Tech Imagine provides solutions to major financial service organizations and supplies Panini check scanners in Latin America. The company has planned to collaborate with leading bank establishments in Latin America to launch pilot programs that utilize Global Rainmakers’ iris biometrics scanning platform to improve the security in these banks.
GRI’s iris recognition technology identifies humans and offers a secure platform for access control and identity management systems. The company’ proprietary matching and image capture technology provides a secure foundation to thousands of customers across the globe easily and cost-effectively. The technology is used for various purposes such as ATM identification and mobile payments, among others.
The Chief Executive Officer of Global Rainmakers, Hector Hoyos, said that the iris scanning technology proved successful in all the headquarters of Bank of America, and collaborating with Tech Imagine would allow the company to expand its reach in the financial service sector.
The President of Tech Imagine, Alex Rosal, said that the financial sectors in Latin America are developing at a rapid pace, and the company’s aim is to collaborate with major manufacturers such as Global Rainmakers to fulfill the present and future needs of the customers.
