The PMA-12 features an optical detector and spectrometer in a single instrument. Spectral measurements can be made easily, using an optical fiber input.
In normal applications the high sensitivity of the equipment allows it to collect spectra by bringing the optical fiber within the proximity of the sample, without the need for a special light collection system.
The PMA-12 has high stability because the photo-detector and spectrometer are fixed. The photonic multichannel analyzer can be applied by users confidently for long periods of time. Accurate spectral measurements can be performed easily because the spectral response and wavelength axis characteristics are previously calibrated.
