Lemnis to Focus on Developing In-House Marketing Capabilities

Lemnis, a unit of Lemnis Lighting, announced that it has ended the distributing partnership with Digital Light for the sale and marketing of its Pharox line of LED products. The energy-efficient lighting technology provider had selected lighting distributor Digital Light based in Los Angeles in 2009 to market the products in the U.S. and other countries.

After securing $35.7 million in a Series D funding recently, the company has decided to focus on developing its own sales and marketing capabilities in the target locations. This helps the company to establish a leading position in the fast-growing LED lighting market.

The founder of Lemnis Lighting, Warner Philips, said that they are excited about adding marketing and sales experts from the digital lighting segment to the company’s team. Philips, who is the head of Lemnis’ operations in the U.S., noted that their Pharox LED family is leading a transitional way worldwide towards the LED technology, and they are determined to implement new strategies of distribution for the purpose.
