Teledyne DALSA today announced that Test & Measurement World has named the Piranha HS NIR as a finalist in the Best in Test Awards. These awards recognize the best in test products and test professionals. In addition, the Piranha HS NIR has been chosen as a finalist for Control Engineering’s Engineer’s Choice Awards. The magazine seeks the insight of engineers in the field to help determine the most noteworthy products introduced in the past year.
The Piranha HS NIR extends Teledyne DALSA's industry leading High Sensitivity (HS) product line and provides a cost-effective solution for imaging in near-infrared wavelengths from 700 to 1050 nanometers. It operates using selectable time delay integration (TDI) stages, up to a maximum of 256, and has an area mode of operation for ease of alignment. The camera can be programmed with up to four user sets of coefficients and can use mirroring control, forward/reverse control, and flat field correction.
“We are honored that the Piranha HS NIR has been selected by two exceptional publications as a finalist for these awards,” said Xing-Fei He, Teledyne DALSA Product Manager. “We are particularly proud to have our camera included in such an outstanding group of new innovative products this year.”
