Panasonic Australia has introducedAG-AC130A and AG-AC160A, which are the new upgraded versions of its professional, innovative AVCCAM HD camera recorders.
Both camera recorders feature improved functionalities such as ‘turbo-speed’ one-push auto-focus and expanded focus assist function. The AG-AC160A integrates the 1080/ 50p and 1080/60p HD recording format acquisition in PS mode.
Besides the standard focus-in-red focus assist, the AG-AC160A and AG-AC130A camera recorders are supported by the expanded focus assist that checks for focus through object magnification. The turbo-speed one-push auto-focus feature offers instant focus capability for the camera recorders. The AG-AC160A, when complemented with 1080/50p and 60p recording with PS mode up to 28 Mbps, ensures excellent imaging capability. As a result, several global customers involved in sports, broadcasting and scientific analysis will be benefited by this exceptional quality format.
With intent to capture native 1920 x 1080 resolution images, the AG-AC160A and AG-AC130A integrate new, wider 22X HD zoom lens with high-sensitivity 1/3 type, Full HD 2.2 MP 3-MOS imagers.
Key features of the newly upgraded versions include:
- Can operate in accordance with Panasonic’s new SDHC full Class 10 UHS-1 Memory Cards, DV recording and an enhanced viewfinder and LCD display.
- Contains two SD memory card slots that support relay or simultaneous recording.
- The higher-end AG-AC160A features variable frame rate recording in 1080p, HD-SDI output, Linear PCM audio, and switchability between 59.94 Hz/50 Hz.
The AG-AC160A and AG-AC130A will be available in Australia in May 2012.
