They offer energy-efficient lighting solutions for medical facilities, hospitals, libraries, schools and offices and other institutional and commercial spaces.

The Direct-Lit LED Flat Panels are suitable for deployment into T-bar grid ceilings and offer superior color rendering with a color rendering index of 85 and lumen output, while reducing maintenance expenditure and time. Their proprietary LED binning ensures an even color distribution.

MaxLite offers two models of Direct-Lit LED Flat Panels such as the cool white 5000K and the warm white 3500K model. The Direct-Lit LED 1'X4' flat panel consumes merely 45 W, while the Direct-Lit LED 2'X2' flat panel is available in 45 W and 60 W models. The Direct-Lit LED 2'X4' flat panels are 60 W panels.

The panels are completely dimmable and can be used with daylight harvesting systems, timers, motion sensors and building controls. With a power factor of more than 98%, they work on 120-277 V systems. Their operating life is approximately 50,000 h.

The aluminum housings and LED back panels offer thermal control and heat sink capabilities. The panels have white polycarbonate translucent lens and their compact profile has a length of 3" that includes the control box. They are cETL and ET certified and comply with RoHS.

The rear side of the Direct-Lit LED Flat Panels has a master/satellite switch. One luminaire has to be connected to the master switch, while the remaining luminaires are connected to the satellite switch. When all units are connected together utilizing regular RJ25 phone cords and jacks, one master unit can control about 10 panels in every room. The LED panels can be manipulated with four different kinds of input signals, including a DMX 512, IR remote, simple dimming and 0-10 V.
