Syngene has unveiled new LED lighting modules that are compatible with Dyversity and G:BOX imagers. The LED modules allow the imagers in identify multiple or single fluorescent proteins and DNA.
The LED lighting modules comprise a specific filter and one wavelength LED light. Laboratory staff can clip the modules into the side of the gantries. The lighting gantries can be installed within a Dyversity or G:BOX imaging system.
The Syngene LED lighting modules are available in far infrared, infrared, red, green and blue as multiplex or single units. The units can illuminate 10x15 cm area and will not heat up the samples because they produce low amount of energy.
Different types of LED lighting modules can be connected at the same time so that users can utilize multiple diverse LEDs with diverse wavelengths or can maximize the intensity of a single light source. Without damaging the proteins and DNA, the LED modules can be utilized for long captures.
