GAO Fiber Optics Rolls Out 810 Dual-Wavelength Laser Source

Supplier of fiber-optic test instruments, GAO Fiber Optics has introduced a new dual-wavelength laser source for project development and field testing. The 810 laser source is suitable for remote optical networks, CATV, WAN and LAN applications.

Dual-Wavelength Laser Source

The dual-wavelength laser source offers a stable and steady light source by adopting optimum methods for laser disposal and emission. It is utilized to differentiate fibers, check the continuity, determine the fiber loss precisely, and analyze the fiber transmission’s transfer quality.

The laser source offers ease of operation, automatic power off, low voltage warning, and has a compact and energy-saving design. Combining the dual-wavelength laser source with GAO’s 800 optical power meter offers an effective solution for field operations.

The operating wavelength of the laser source changes between 1550 and 1310 nm. In addition, the laser device is equipped with an LED status indicator to show the output wavelength display, and is compatible with SC, ST and FC adapters.
