Endicott Research Group (ERG) has introduced a new Smart Force SFD2C Series LED driver that can efficiently and concurrently power a maximum of eight strings of high-brightness LEDs.

LED Driver

The Smart Force SFD2C Series has a dual output that offers an overall current of up to 1200 mA. This current powers the LED backlights that are utilized in LCD displays.

The LED driver is suitable for LED backlights that use huge HBLEDs. It powers a maximum of four HBLED strings in every side with a current of up to 150 mA for every string. The SFD2C LED driver has a maximum output voltage of 60 V, an input voltage design ranging from 10 to 20 V, and an overall power of 50 W.

The SFD2C provides external and onboard PWM dimming with maximum dimming ratios of 5000:1. The LED driver also has individual brightness controls and measures 2.20” x 5.61” in size. It can be utilized with OEM LED display panels and ERG’s new range of HBLED rails that offer better thermal management.
