Provider of network equipment and power supply products, Billion Electric, has chosen Broadlight’s third-generation BL23500 GPON processor series to develop a BiPAC 9300 GPON gateway. Broadlight provides fiber access processors.
Billion’s latest GPON CPE products, developed with new BroadLight processors, will provide carrier-class performance in an economic design, which meets new carrier service needs.
Billion has made substantial investments in the software stacks, which is ported onto Broadlight’s second-generation GPON Residential Gateway processor. Broadlight’s combined software middleware and enhanced design of the gateway processors will enable Billion to conveniently port the software onto the BL23500 GPON series. Billion will unveil new BiPAC 9300 GPON gateway series that allows swift and powerful run times.
Broadlight’s Chief Executive Officer, Raanan Gewirtzman stated that the company’s fiber grade architecture offers improved bandwidth power in a cost-efficient design. This design allows service providers to boost ARPU via new applications. He added that the company is delighted to work with Billion and allows the company to extend its GPON business into more fiber access markets.
