Manufacturer of consumer electronics, Sharp, has introduced a series of six LED-based luminaires for the Japanese market. The Solid State Lighting (SSL) luminaries can be mounted on the ceilings and measure up to 43 mm in thickness.
The slim luminaries are available with remote controls to control the light levels and the color temperature. The color temperature is present in certain models.
The DL-302V, the DL-C301V and the DL-C501V lighting fixtures are suitable for rooms measuring 12.2 to 18.4 square meters. The entire range of fixtures includes color control and dimming capabilities. The lights have an Eco Light Rhythm feature, which alters the color and brightness levels automatically. The lights offer 110 levels of brightness and color. The other three lighting fixtures, the DL-501D, the DL-C301D and the DL-C201d, are ideal for rooms measuring 9.2 to 18.4 square meters. These models support only dimming capabilities.
The six lighting fixtures provide light output from 2350 lm to 5100 lm and have a lamp life of 40,000 hours. The lights consume 46 to 86 W of power. Sharp also provides two kinds of remote controls for luminaires with changeable color and dimming capabilities.
