RPMC Lasers Introduces D2.fs Femtosecond Laser

RPMC Lasers has rolled out a new D2.fs femtosecond laser that comes in 10 and 4 W with 400 fsec pulse widths at maximum rep rates of 200 kHz. The D2.fs laser generates energy of up to 100 µJ at 100 kHz and 200 µJ at 50 kHz with a 1030 nm emission wavelength.

The D2.fs utilizes a fiber seed oscillator and generates short pulses with high beam quality and high energy. It is ideal for scientific applications such as spectroscopy and micromachining applications where precision and peak energy are required. The high beam quality integrated with the high rep rates make the laser tool ideal for microstructuring and micromachining materials without developing thermal side effects.

The D2.fs laser’s stable design enables it to deliver balanced operation over temperature variances, making it significantly better than other femtosecond lasers.
